What's in my makeup bag?

Hey lovelies!

This post has long been overdue! I have been planning to write this post for a very long time already. But, I somehow didn't get around to writing it. I know some are curious about "What's in my make up bag" so I decided to show my readers through this post.

This is my make up bag. It was a Christmas gift from one of my friends from the office. It's size is okay because  it generally fits my daily make up and it fits very well in my purse too!

In my make up bag, I always carry a (1) compact mirror, (2) a number of hair ties for when I want to put my hair in a ponytail, (3) hair gloss, (4) toothpaste and (5) a toothbrush.

For face products, I always carry my (1) L.A. Colors Bronzer (I love this!), (2) Snoe Beauty Four Seasons Blush Palette and (3) my L.A. Colors Face Powder. I love Snoe Beauty's Four Seasons Blush Palette because it comes in compact palette of 4 blush shades! Savvy eh?!

I also carry (1) a black and brown eyeliner, (2) stick concealer, (3) liquid concealer, (4) my Snoe Beauty Beso Balm which I have reviewed here, (5) L.A. Colors Mascara, (6) lipsticks ( a nude one and a bright one), and (7) a lip brush).

There goes the contents of my make up bag! Please comment below and let me know what's in your make up bag!

Till my next blog post!

NOTW: Glitter Explosion!

Hey lovelies!

I haven't done a "Nails of the Week" (NOTW) post in ages! So here's one now.

I call this Glitter Explosion because the glitters are just all over the place. Haha. I am not really a fan of glittery nails. I'm more of a solid nail polish color kind of girl. But, I was just experimenting with this nail look and I love how it turned out!

I used Caress Nail Polish's Cyclamen Pink as my base. I applied 2 coats of these on my nails before applying the glitter. (Sorry for the poor background and lighting. I shot this over my bed. You can see the sheets and my neck pillow on the background. Haha.)

For the glitter nail polish, I used this silver glittery polish from Etude House. The glitters are just plain silver, which I actually love!

I hope you guys liked my NOTW. If you guys are into glitter nail polishes or nail polishes in general, please comment below and let's have a chat about it! ;)

Till my next blog post!

I'm back + E.L.F. Haul!!!

Hey lovely readers!

I know I have been M.I.A. lately and I haven't blogged in such a long time. I missed blogging, that's for sure. I also missed talking to fellow bloggers on Twitter and on Facebook. But now that I have had a breather from my very stressful job, I plan to start blogging again. Starting with this haul...

I was walking through the mall the other day when I passed by the E.L.F. counter. When I started getting serious with makeup and starting practicing more and more, E.L.F. was my go-to brand. Not only is it cheap, but I kinda like its quality.

I decided to treat myself to some E.L.F. products, especially their liquid eyeliners as I was starting to get the hang of using them on myself and I wanted to practice more. So, here's my E.L.F. loot...

Like I said, I wanted to practice applying liquid eyeliner on my eyes. I just love how it defines the eye for a more dramatic look. When I saw this set, I just knew I had to have it. An E.L.F. liquid eyeliner costs        Php 129.75. Well, guess what?! I got this set for only Php 299.75 and it already has 3 liquid eyeliners and 2 pencil eyeliners! A definite steal!

I also got this cream eyeliner in brown. I've never tried or owned cream eyeliner before that's why I decided to get this one as well.

I got 2 of their brushes: the blending eye brush and the eyeshadow brush. I love their eye brushes! They're cheap and are perfect especially if you are just dabbling with makeup.

I got their corrective concealer palette which have different shades that will tackle different problem areas.

I have always wanted their bronzer from their studio line but this always seem out-of-stock. When I saw this, I just grabbed it! Dream come true! Haha.

I love E.L.F.'s lip products. And I went for these two shades of red. I'm currently into red lips! Love!

I hoped you guys liked my E.L.F. haul. If there is any specific product from this haul that you want me to review and write about in detail, please let me know. Or if there is any other product that you might want me to try and review, please let me know as well. I love hearing from my readers! You guys are simply the best! ;)

Till my next blog post!

7 Deadly Sins of Beauty

Hey lovelies! The "7 Deadly Sins Beauty Tag" has been going around the beauty and blogging community for quite some time now. I thought this was a fun tag to do so here goes my answers to the questions! :)

1. Greed: What is your most inexpensive beauty product you love?

The most inexpensive beauty products that I love are my L.A. Colors and ELF products. Both of these brands have really affordable cosmetics with great quality!

2. WRATH: What beauty products do you have a love/hate relationship with?

Hmmm. I think I have a love/hate relationship with eyeliners. There are times when I can't go out without lining my eyes but most of the time, I'm fine without it.

3. Gluttony: What are your most delicious beauty products?

My most delicious beauty products are my Maybelline Baby Lips Lip Balm in Anti-oxidant Berry and my Snoe Beauty Beso Balm which tastes like mint.

4. Sloth: What beauty product do you neglect due to laziness?

I guess I always neglect face and eye primers.

5. Pride: What beauty product makes you feel confident?

Mascara! I just feel more confident with full lashes!

6. Lust: What traits do you find attractive in the opposite sex?

I like a smart guy with a great sense of humor.

7. Envy:  What item would you most like to receive as a gift:

I would like to receive the Urban Decay Naked Palette 1 & 2. Haha.

I hope you guys liked this tag! I tag my readers to do this tag as well!

Product Review and Swatches: BeautyUK Eyeshadows

Hi lovelies!

For today's blogpost, I would like to introduce this new palette of eyeshadows that I am currently loving. It's BeautyUK's Eyeshadow Palette in Earth Child. BeautyUK cosmetics are not available at any makeup counter in the Philippines. However, I got mine from an online seller called Make Up Hub by NatureleCollezione.

This palette is composed of 10 matte and shimmery eyeshadows that are perfect for an everyday neutral look or a classic smokey eye. The pigmentation of these eyeshadows definitely blew me away! The color payoff is so awesome! I mean, look at these swatches!

The matte black at the leftmost corner is amazing! It's perfect for smokey eyes and for lining your eyes. I also love the 4th color in the row, which is a shimmery copper color which is perfect if you want that bronzey or goddess-like look.

The second row of eyeshadows consist of lighter colors which are perfect for the inner corners of the eyes and for highlighting. I particularly like the 4th eyeshadow in the row. I know it doesn't look like it, but it's actually a very light champagne color. I just love this color (and I'm sorry that the picture doesn't do this color justice) and I often use it just as a standalone eyeshadow.

Here's the final verdict:

Quality - A+
I love this palette! The eyeshadows are very pigmented and the colors included in this palette are perfect for an everyday look. I think it would be great to travel with as well since it has all the colors that you need to create day-to-night looks.

Packaging - B
I don't see anything special about the packaging. However, it is very compact and would definitely fit in a small-sized makeup bag.

Price - A+
For the quality of the eyeshadows that your getting, I believe that its price of around Php370 is not bad at all. Plus, you get 10 amazing eyeshadows!

I hope you guys liked my review and swatches. I'm hoping to do looks with these eyeshadows soon. So watch out for them!

Till my next blog post!

Product Review: Snoe Body Ritual Recipes Scrumptious Body Spritz

Hello gals!

I want to talk about this new scent that I am loving at the moment: the Snoe Body Ritual Recipes Scrumptious Body Spritz in Honey Dew Melon Yogurt. Doesn't the name just make your mouth water?!

Aside from Snoe Beauty's range of soap, hair and cosmetic products, they also offer scents which come in 3 variants. Out of the 3, the Honey Dew Melon Yogurt was the one that I instantly fell in love with.

From the name itself, it smells like melon. I know some fruity scents can be too overpowering or too sweet. But this scent is just right! It's not too overpowering and it's just perfect for everyday! Even my friends love this scent!

I also love how this scent stays on for a long time. Unlike most scents that I have tried, they would only last long for a couple of hours. But this scent last a very long time!

The final verdict:

Quality - A++++
The scent is amaze-balls!!! The longevity of the scent is great too!

Packaging - A
The packaging is pretty simple. Just a plastic bottle. But the label is amazing! I love the design of it!

Price - A++
For the quality that you are getting, this product is not bad at Php 249 for a 120 ml bottle.

I would just like to add that I am not in any way affiliated with this brand. I know I have reviewed a few of their products but I have bought those products myself. I just love this brand for being 100% Pinoy and for their unique products that haven't failed me so far. ;)

I hope you guys like my review!

Please do like Snoe Beauty on Facebook!
And please follow them on Twitter! They really reply to your tweets!

Birthday Haul: Wet N Wild & NYX

Hey lovelies!

As some of you may know, I celebrated my 23rd birthday last March 1. For my birthday, I just wished to get some stuff for myself. I have been so swamped with work these days that I really needed some retail therapy.

Last February 26 (a few days before my birthday), I went to the Soleil Bazaar at SM Megamall. I heard that Wet N Wild and L.A. Colors were going to have a booth there and they were offering great discounts. Basically, I just went to the bazaar to visit their booth. Haha. I got a few things from Wet N Wild during the bazaar. I love Wet N Wild! I find that their products have amazing quality and are affordable as well. I have a few of their lipsticks and a bunch of their eyeliners but I have never tried their other products.

I wanted to try their foundation which was 20% off! These nail polishes were buy 1 get 1!
From left to right: Megalast Nail Colors in Bite the Bullet and Undercover & Ultimate Match Liquid Foundation with SPF 15 in Bisque

I have always wanted to try their eyeshadows because of Emily Noel, the YouTube guru! I often swatch these eyeshadows at the mall but I never got around to buying them. Haha. However, at the bazaar, I just couldn't resist since they were 20% off! Plus, they are super pigmented!
From left to right: Silent Treatment and Walking on Eggshells

Aside from these Wet N Wild products, I also treated myself to some new NYX Round Lipsticks! I love NYX Round Lipsticks! I just love NYX in general! I love the quality of their products, the variety and the affordability! I have started collecting NYX Round Lipsticks last year and now I have 13 in my collection! I have been browsing online shops for these past few weeks and I came across The Pink Shoppe! Out of all the online shops that I've browsed, this one offers the most affordable range of NYX products and some of their products were on sale!

So, I bought, uhm, 8 NYX Round Lipsticks this time. I know I'm crazy but these lipsticks are divine!

I know I said I bought 8. But the other one was in my makeup bag which was in my purse which I left in the office. Whew! Haha.

From left to right: Frappucino, Thalia & Paris

The one that I left at the office was Minnimalism which is a light, nudish pink color. ;)

I hope you guys liked my birthday haul!
