Product Review: L.A. Colors Liquid Make up and Pressed Powder

Hey lovelies!

I have really been into the brand L.A. Colors ever since I found out about it in December. I started out buying a few face products from them then branched out into their other products.

For this post, I am going to review their Liquid Make up and Pressed Powder

L.A. Colors Liquid Makeup

This liquid make up works as a foundation. It comes in a 33 ml bottle and costs only Php 169! Can you imagine a foundation for only Php 169?! Crazy, right?!

This foundation just gives a light to medium coverage. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin as if you've piled on a ton of makeup. It also gives you a natural glow and I believe this would be great for a "No Make Up" look.

Another thing that I like about this foundation is that it applies really well. It blends easily with a stippling brush, a foundation brush or just your fingers!

I am in the shade Natural.

L.A Colors Pressed Powder

This pressed powder has replaced my Maybelline one. Not only is is cheaper as it costs only Php 149, it gives a nice "finished" effect on your face. It works really well with the L.A. Colors Liquid Makeup and I even find that it works really well with any foundation that I use.

I really love this product that I've hit pan already!

And I already bought a back up! Haha!

The final verdict on these 2 products:

Quality - A -
I'll give these products an A minus because although I really like them and they work really well, they couldn't control the oil on my face. I find that I need touch ups at least twice a day.

Price - A
These products are like seriously affordable! I like how reasonably priced they are. Actually, the whole range of L.A. Colors Cosmetics are very reasonably priced.

Packaging - B
Nothing really special about the packaging. It would be nice if they add some color to their packaging to make it look more fun and attractive.

I hope you guys liked my review!
To those of you who have tried L.A. Colors Cosmetics, please comment below and let me know what you think. To those who haven't tried this brand yet, you should! Haha.

L.A. Colors can be found at SM Department Store and Landmark Makati and Trinoma.

Product Review: Snoe Beauty Beso Balm

Hey lovelies!

Ever since I was in high school, I love lip balms. I used to collect them back in high school and I remember that at one point, I had a total of 16 lip balms! I don't have that much lip balms right now but I still couldn't live without them!

For years I've tried a lot of different brands and I can say that only a few brands have stayed with me. Recently, I just discovered this lip balm through fellow bloggers and it's called the Beso Balm from Snoe Beauty.

This product has been the rave of bloggers and non-bloggers alike and I knew that I just had to try it for myself! Now that I have been using it non-stop for the past two weeks or so, I can say that this lip balm is amaziiinngggg!!!!!

According to its packaging, this lip balm Plumps, Soothes, Protects and Freshens Breath. The thing that I find most unique about this product is it's scent. To me it smells like breath freshener or a mouth rinse which is actually really good. Not only does it soften and protect your lips, but it also gives you fresh bresh.

This is how my lips look like after I've applied the Beso Balm.

Another thing that I like about this product is it's plumping effect. When you apply it onto your lips, you get that tingly or cooling feeling that makes your lips like Angelina Jolie's!!!!

But beware of this product, because according to it's packaging, prolonged use may attract the opposite gender and cause intense flirting. Haha. Upon reading this on the product's label, I thought it was really cute and very creative on the part of Snoe Beauty!!!

Here are my final ratings on the product:

Quality - A++
I love this product! It has really done great things for my lips! It definitely plumps, soothes and protects my lips. And it freshens my breath too!

Packaging - A
The packaging is simple and compact just like most lip balms.

Price - A
This product, if I remember correctly, costs Php 149. Which is not bad for the quality that you are getting.

So, kudos to Snoe Beauty for coming up with this very unique product! I am definitely repurchasing this product again and I highly recommend it to everyone!

Haul: Human Nature Philippines!!

Hey lovelies!

So, last Tuesday, I placed an order with Human Nature Philippines, a local body & hair care and cosmetics company in the Philippines. This is my second time ordering from them. I really loved the products that I first purchased from them that is why I decided to purchase some more! This time, I decided to purchase more cosmetic products from them.

My order arrived on the mail today! So this will basically be an open box haul!

Every time you order online from Human Nature, they will ship your goodies inside this great cardboard box. They also pack their items really well; they stuff the box with newspaper to prevent breakage while they wrap cosmetic items in bubble wrap.

My goodies!

I got a total of 5 items this time. The first two are products that I have already bought before and fell in love with!

Human Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil

This truly is a bottle of miracle! It has been a staple in my vanity ever since I got my first bottle. This works really well. It helps minimize dark circles and stretch marks and it helps whiten underarms too! You can even use it for your hair!

This is a 50ml bottle which costs Php 129.75

Human Nature Organic Shaving Oil

Of all the shaving creams/oils that I have tried, this by far is the best! It is organic so it does not contain any chemicals that harm your skin. My skin just feels great after I've shaved with this!

This is a 100 ml bottle which costs Php119.75

The other 3 things that I got are cosmetic products. I bought a blush from Human Nature before and I really liked it. So, I decided to check out more of their mineral cosmetics.

Human Nature Velvet Passion Mineral Eyeshadow in Sweet Innocence

Can I just say that I love the packaging of this palette?! I am such a sucker for anything purple! These neutral eyeshadows are awesome for a day-to-day look. They are fairly pigmented and the shades are gorgeous!

This costs Php 225

Human Nature Mineral Hydrating Lipstick

This is my first time to try their lip colors. They come in 5 gorgeous shades. I bought 2 of their shades; Sweet Nectar and Coral Kiss. I love these shades and they are perfect for everyday!

This cost Php 225 each

I hoped you liked my haul! If you happen to have tried any of these products, please comment below and let me know what you think!

Must Have Brushes

Hey lovelies!

It's been quite some time but I am back! It is good to be back!

For today's post, I decided to blog about my must have brushes! For every make up addict, brushes are equally important. I know that I cannot live without my brushes! We definitely can use our fingers to apply our makeup, but we still need brushes for a precise application.

I have a lot of make up brushes but these 7 brushes are my must haves!

Face Brushes

My must have face brushes include (1) a stippling brush, (2) powder brush, (3) blush brush and (4) a concealer brush.

(1) A stippling brush is flat topped which is great for applying foundation because it gives you an air-brushed effect. I even sometimes use it to apply my bronzer or blush.

(2) A powder brush is used to apply powder after applying foundation or to just touch up during the day.

(3) A blush brush is used to apply blush and bronzer. A perfect blush brush is one that has an angle which makes it great for contouring.

(4) A concealer brush is used to apply concealer. Most of us apply concealer using our fingers. But a concealer brush would be great to really pat on your concealer.

Eye Brushes

My must have eye brushes include (1) a blending brush, (2) pencil/crease brush and (3) an eyeshadow brush.

(1) A blending brush is a definite must have! It is great for blending out the harsh edges of your eyeshadow.

(2) A pencil/crease brush is used to apply eyeshadow on your crease area. It can also be used to apply eyeshadow on your waterline or to smudge eyeshadow and eyeliner.

(3) An eyeshadow brush is used to apply eyeshadow on your eyelids.

To anyone who is just starting with make up, I really advise that these are the brushes that you must first get.
I hope this post have been helpful.

Please comment below and let me know what your must have brushes are!

Till my next blogpost!
