Product Review: Snoe Body Ritual Recipes Scrumptious Body Spritz

Hello gals!

I want to talk about this new scent that I am loving at the moment: the Snoe Body Ritual Recipes Scrumptious Body Spritz in Honey Dew Melon Yogurt. Doesn't the name just make your mouth water?!

Aside from Snoe Beauty's range of soap, hair and cosmetic products, they also offer scents which come in 3 variants. Out of the 3, the Honey Dew Melon Yogurt was the one that I instantly fell in love with.

From the name itself, it smells like melon. I know some fruity scents can be too overpowering or too sweet. But this scent is just right! It's not too overpowering and it's just perfect for everyday! Even my friends love this scent!

I also love how this scent stays on for a long time. Unlike most scents that I have tried, they would only last long for a couple of hours. But this scent last a very long time!

The final verdict:

Quality - A++++
The scent is amaze-balls!!! The longevity of the scent is great too!

Packaging - A
The packaging is pretty simple. Just a plastic bottle. But the label is amazing! I love the design of it!

Price - A++
For the quality that you are getting, this product is not bad at Php 249 for a 120 ml bottle.

I would just like to add that I am not in any way affiliated with this brand. I know I have reviewed a few of their products but I have bought those products myself. I just love this brand for being 100% Pinoy and for their unique products that haven't failed me so far. ;)

I hope you guys like my review!

Birthday Haul: Wet N Wild & NYX

Hey lovelies!

As some of you may know, I celebrated my 23rd birthday last March 1. For my birthday, I just wished to get some stuff for myself. I have been so swamped with work these days that I really needed some retail therapy.

Last February 26 (a few days before my birthday), I went to the Soleil Bazaar at SM Megamall. I heard that Wet N Wild and L.A. Colors were going to have a booth there and they were offering great discounts. Basically, I just went to the bazaar to visit their booth. Haha. I got a few things from Wet N Wild during the bazaar. I love Wet N Wild! I find that their products have amazing quality and are affordable as well. I have a few of their lipsticks and a bunch of their eyeliners but I have never tried their other products.

I wanted to try their foundation which was 20% off! These nail polishes were buy 1 get 1!
From left to right: Megalast Nail Colors in Bite the Bullet and Undercover & Ultimate Match Liquid Foundation with SPF 15 in Bisque

I have always wanted to try their eyeshadows because of Emily Noel, the YouTube guru! I often swatch these eyeshadows at the mall but I never got around to buying them. Haha. However, at the bazaar, I just couldn't resist since they were 20% off! Plus, they are super pigmented!
From left to right: Silent Treatment and Walking on Eggshells

Aside from these Wet N Wild products, I also treated myself to some new NYX Round Lipsticks! I love NYX Round Lipsticks! I just love NYX in general! I love the quality of their products, the variety and the affordability! I have started collecting NYX Round Lipsticks last year and now I have 13 in my collection! I have been browsing online shops for these past few weeks and I came across The Pink Shoppe! Out of all the online shops that I've browsed, this one offers the most affordable range of NYX products and some of their products were on sale!

So, I bought, uhm, 8 NYX Round Lipsticks this time. I know I'm crazy but these lipsticks are divine!

I know I said I bought 8. But the other one was in my makeup bag which was in my purse which I left in the office. Whew! Haha.

From left to right: Frappucino, Thalia & Paris

The one that I left at the office was Minnimalism which is a light, nudish pink color. ;)

I hope you guys liked my birthday haul!
My birthday went really well, thanks to my family and friends who made me feel special! ;)

NOTW: Montana

Hey lovelies!

I featured a nail polish collection from Chic nail color here. I decided to feature the colors in these collections in a series of NOTW's.

Here is the first color that I have tried from the collection:

This color is called Montana.

It's a nice shimmery blue color that reminds me of a starry night sky. I love the tiny specks of glitter in it and the shade of blue is just perfect!

I hope you enjoyed this simple nail look!

Nail Polish Galore!

Hey lovelies!

So, I think you guys know that I am crazy about nail polish. Well, obsessed really! Haha. When I stopped by Watson's the other day, I saw this really cool collection from Chic Nail Color. This is a local brand that I have been using ever since I started this crazy obsession.

This collection that they have (I'm not sure how new this is) looks really cool. From the packaging of these bottles, I believe this is called the "Grainy Collection". It has 5 different colors and they all have a glittery finish.

From left to right: Shadow Crystal, Siam, Montana, Amethyst and Peridot.

I apologize for the quality of this photo. I know it looks that Montana and Amethyst are the same. But Montana is a blue color while Amethyst is purple. ;)

I believe this collection is called the "Grainy Collection" because it has very fine grains of glitter in it. Unlike other nail polishes with chunky amounts of glitter, this collection's glitters are very fine which gives it a more opaque finish.

The feel of it is quite different too! Unlike most nail polishes that feel smooth to the touch, this gives a kind of finish that feel like your touching numerous particles. Does that makes sense? Haha.

Just from the look of this collection, I instantly fell in love with Shadow Crystal, which I believe is the most wearable out of the 5 colors. I like Peridot too for its apple green color. The other colors are pretty as well and I can't wait to try them all.

I plan to do a "Nails of the Week" blog post featuring these colors soon! Which one should I feature first? Please comment below and let me know!

Till my next blog post!

Haul: BeautyUK Cosmetics from Make Up Hub by Naturele Collezione

Hey lovelies!

I have always been on search for good cosmetic products that are not only of great quality, but are affordable as well. In my search, I chanced upon a Facebook page called Make Up Hub by NatureleCollezione. I have seen a lot of local entrepreneurs selling make up products on Facebook but I have noticed that most online sellers offer the same brands of make up.

To my surprise, this particular online shop sold brands that I was not familiar about but looked really interesting. I knew right away that I wanted to try their products! But what really convinced me was the fact that Say of Makeup By Say Tioco Artillero, a local YouTube guru, loves their products too!

So I decided to purchase a few products. I was glad that I was able to get one item on sale! And may I say that my transaction with Sarah, the owner, went smoothly. She was friendly and she really entertained my questions.

Here are the products that I got:

My loot!!!!! 3 products from BeautyUK and 1 from Miners Cosmetics!!!!

I decided to get this 10 eyeshadow palette in Earth Child by BeautyUK! I was instantly drawn to this palette because of its neutral and earthy hues.

I also got this baked blush in Peaches and Cream by BeautyUK. I've never owned a baked blush before and the color looks super pretty!

Isn't this gorgeous?! This Stripey Blush in Pink by BeautyUK is gorgeous! Can't you tell that I am a blush person? Haha.

Lastly, I got this Miners Cosmetics Masterclass Palette in Party Eyes!

I feel like this is such a convenient palette to have around and to travel with as it comes with 4 gorgeous and pigmented eyeshadows, an eyeliner and an itty bitty mascara. It also has a step-by-step guide on how to create a look with these eyeshadows! Pretty cool, right!

There goes my mini haul. I will surely purchase more products from Make Up Hub by NatureleCollezione. Their products are not only unique, but also very affordable. Please check out their Facebook page to see the products that they offer.

In depth reviews of these products will follow really soon! ;)

Product Review: Human Nature Sunflower Beauty Oil

Hello lovelies!

For more than a month now, I have been using Human Nature's Sunflower Beauty Oil. So much hype has been given to this product by bloggers and beauty enthusiasts alike, so I thought that it would be worth it to try.

This product is a miracle in a bottle. On the label, it says:

"Feel the years fall away as our gold elixir works its magic. Helps minimize dark circles and stretch marks, lighten and brighten underarms and even add healthy-looking shine to hair. No wonder sunflowers are known as "Happy Flowers" for the joy they bring."

Upon reading what it says on the label, I got even more excited to try this product! Well, let me tell you that this product really did work its miracle on me. I have used it in various ways and it has worked greatly for me.

I have used this product on my underarms which have darkened due to an allergic reaction. I used a particular brand of deodorant that left my underarms so itchy. The more itchy it got, the harder I scratched and it left wounds on my underarms and eventually scars. Ever since using this product, the scars have definitely lightened and my underarms are now going back to its normal color.

I have also used this product as a makeup remover. This just works superbly! It takes off even the most waterproof mascaras and eyeliners! Plus, it doesn't irritate my skin!

This product also works great after I shave my legs or underarms. I lather it onto my skin to make it smooth and soft.

I haven't tried it on my hair and I can't vouch for its effectivity against stretch marks though. ;)

But on the overall, this product is great. To be honest, every product by Human Nature is great. And, I love this brand because not only does it manufacture its products here in the Philippines, but the proceeds from their sales go to good causes for the poor and the environment. So, expect more reviews from their products in the near future!

The final verdict:

Quality - A+
Like I said, this product is amaze-balls! I will definitely be repurchasing this again! In fact, I already have a back up in my cabinet. ;)

Price - A
This product is very affordable. Only Php 129.75 for a 50 ml bottle which really goes a long way.

Packaging - A
The packaging is really simple. It comes with a pump which is great for using this product.

I definitely recommend this product to everyone! To order it, just visit Human Nature's website.

Till my next blog post!

Product Review: L.A. Colors Liquid Make up and Pressed Powder

Hey lovelies!

I have really been into the brand L.A. Colors ever since I found out about it in December. I started out buying a few face products from them then branched out into their other products.

For this post, I am going to review their Liquid Make up and Pressed Powder

L.A. Colors Liquid Makeup

This liquid make up works as a foundation. It comes in a 33 ml bottle and costs only Php 169! Can you imagine a foundation for only Php 169?! Crazy, right?!

This foundation just gives a light to medium coverage. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin as if you've piled on a ton of makeup. It also gives you a natural glow and I believe this would be great for a "No Make Up" look.

Another thing that I like about this foundation is that it applies really well. It blends easily with a stippling brush, a foundation brush or just your fingers!

I am in the shade Natural.

L.A Colors Pressed Powder

This pressed powder has replaced my Maybelline one. Not only is is cheaper as it costs only Php 149, it gives a nice "finished" effect on your face. It works really well with the L.A. Colors Liquid Makeup and I even find that it works really well with any foundation that I use.

I really love this product that I've hit pan already!

And I already bought a back up! Haha!

The final verdict on these 2 products:

Quality - A -
I'll give these products an A minus because although I really like them and they work really well, they couldn't control the oil on my face. I find that I need touch ups at least twice a day.

Price - A
These products are like seriously affordable! I like how reasonably priced they are. Actually, the whole range of L.A. Colors Cosmetics are very reasonably priced.

Packaging - B
Nothing really special about the packaging. It would be nice if they add some color to their packaging to make it look more fun and attractive.

I hope you guys liked my review!
To those of you who have tried L.A. Colors Cosmetics, please comment below and let me know what you think. To those who haven't tried this brand yet, you should! Haha.

L.A. Colors can be found at SM Department Store and Landmark Makati and Trinoma.
