Sea Goddess

Hey there!

I got inspired today when I saw the E.L.F. Cosmetics Quad in Ocean Dreams. The quad has some great blue and green shades that reminded me of the sea and of mermaids. I decided to buy the quad and attempt to do an eye makeup using it. Haha. Honestly, this is my first ever blog post of this sort. I tried doing this kind of posts before but I couldn't get a decent picture! Thankfully, I now have my cousin with me here in Manila and she nicely volunteered to take the shots! Thanks Crissa! :)

This look is very simple and I would recommend this look for a night out or for a themed party. The materials I used are very affordable and are available at any department store. I will be showing pictures of the step-by-step process in accomplishing this look. Let's get started!

Step 1: I applied a cream eyeshadow as my base. I used the Enlightened Creamy Eyeshadow Base in the shade Highlight. I got this cream eyeshadow from one of my Glamourboxes. I think it was from the January one.

Step 2: On the inner half of my eyelid I applied this light green color (2nd color from the left) from the quad.

Step 3: On the outer half of my eyelid I applied the violet-blue color (1st color from the right) from the quad.

Step 4: On my crease and on the outermost portion of my eyelid, I deepened the color using the deep blue color (2nd from the right) from the quad.

Step 5: Highlight your brow bone and tear duct area with the lightest green shade (1st from the left) in the quad. Out of all the colors in this quad, I don't like this the most. The color payoff is very minimal that I had to apply the color more than once.

Step 6: Line your upper lash line and water line with a deep blue-green color. I used Nichido's Eye Contour Pencil in Metal Blue.

Step 7: Coat your lashes with mascara. I used my Revlon Custom Eyes Mascara in Black Noir.

I hope you guys liked this look and I hope you'll try it for yourselves! If there is any specific look that you would want me to do or any E.L.F. quad to use for a look, please comment below and let me know!

Till my next blog post!
